A big move
Your relocation questions, answered
Confused about how much house you can afford, whether or not you should rent, and the different neighborhoods in Austin, TX you may be able to call home?
Moving to Austin from a different country and building up your credit from scratch?
We’ve guided hundreds of home buyers through the same dilemmas, and onto finding their dream home in North Austin, South Austin, East Austin, Cedar Park, Round Rock, Pflugerville, Bee Cave, Lakeway, Leander, Georgetown, and more top-ranked cities in Texas.
Meet with our experts to discuss where you are in your relocation journey. After learning your needs, we’ll find you the properties that work for your situation, using our well-researched and proven real estate analytics algorithm. This takes into account your wishes, market conditions, and real-time, and neighborhood-specific home values, to hand-select the best properties available.
Pre-Approval
Work with a lender to sort through your finances and determine how much house you can obtain a mortgage for. We can recommend a few lenders if you do not have one. This step should happen before you begin house hunting.
Wishlist
Share your house dreams with The Investory’s team, and we’ll help you focus, prioritize and zero in on the best neighborhoods for your preferences. Share any potential issues you foresee as well, such as travel plans, credit history, and other factors that can influence what kind of home you buy, and when. From here, we’ll come up with a shortlist of properties to view.
House Hunting
Go on showings with a dedicated agent from The Investory, to see your wishlist in action, and narrow it down even further based on what you see out there. Often, we see buyers change their mind about a must-have, or even add some new ones to their list!
Offer
After you select a property and receive our data-based advice as to how much you should offer for it, we’ll prepare an offer and submit it to the sellers for consideration. The offer will include anything you want as long as you discussed it prior with your real estate agent, including any contingencies, or any items you wish to purchase in addition to the home itself.
Inspection
We’ll coordinate an inspection and appraisal of the property to ensure you know precisely what you’re buying - the good, the bad, and the ugly. Our team will facilitate any negotiations as well to get you the best deal possible.
Closing
This is the part you’ve been waiting for! Close on your new home and start making memories.
Post-Closing
Your dream home may not be in its dream state right when you buy it. To ensure it becomes all you want it to be, we can provide estimates for any renovation you want to make, and even handle execution with zero mark up.

We know our stuff
Austin's relocation experts
Relocating can be incredibly overwhelming. From saying goodbye to loved ones and places, to planning your arrival in a new and unfamiliar place, you have to be ready for anything.
If you have children, your to-do list will be even longer! Supporting them emotionally and academically during the move, as well as helping them adjust to a new neighborhood, school and activities, will take their toll.
Add to this potentially needing to find new work for your spouse, and/or adjusting to a new role or team with the move, and you’ve got an incredibly demanding period in your life.
Every family is different, and given Austin’s meteoric growth, having often been crowned ‘the hottest real estate market in the United States’, it’s easy for relocation buyers to get carried away and make decisions that don’t make sense - such as buying a home too quickly, or in the wrong area, or for more than they can comfortably afford.
